Oil Exploration Sensors
Challenges:

Built for deep underground pressure and temperature sensors these cylinders need 100 percent penetration, zero porosity. After passing initial x-rays on the root pass these cylinder take 10 revolutions of weld before being milled down to a smooth finish. Our Lathe Welder features an optional cooled chuck so the material doesnt over heat and to reduce wear of the chuck jaws and chuck itself. The cooling also prevents the end user from having to wait for the chuck to cool down to insert a new part.
Gas Pipe Welder

Proposed with a unique challenge of welding multiple 90 degree off shooting pipes onto a long main pipe. This company required a custom turn key system to apply repeatable welds that pass strict inspections. Delivered in under 4 months a Contour-Arc Pipe welder was born. This system featured an inverted welding arm, full enclosure, fume extraction, and open ends to feed long piping through. Further we worked with their preferred brand of robotics so their programing knowledge is applicable throughout the shop.
